We have rented a family house for an entire week as our base in Port de Soller. Friends showed up, everyday a few more until we were complete by mid week. We had not only to celebrate the golden wedding anniversary, it was also the eightieth birthday of my mom and my birthday as well. So an entire week of celebrations and I can tell you we love to celebrate every minute of our lives.

Die Braut halb Italienerin, halb Südamerikanerin und in Deutschland aufgewachsen, der Bräutigam Schweizer, die Hochzeit international bunt gemischt! Die Gäste kamen aus aller Welt, allein deshalb sollte es ein Fest werden, welches in Erinnerung bleiben sollte. Angefangen hat alles mit der intimen standesamtlichen Trauung in Fiesole, oberhalb von Florenz, mit anschließendem Lunch in einem der besten Hotels der Stadt. Das alte Kloster mit dem wunderschönem Garten und der traumhaften Terrasse war der perfekte Auftakt zu diesem tollen Wochenende. Die Stimmung war schon sehr locker und beschwingt, so dass als abends die nächsten Gäste anreisten es in einer typischen Trattoria schon sehr lustig zuging.
